Roaming Times registered with the State of Arizona on January 26, 2001. Two years before that – Its founders David Mottram and Eileen Sodell, partners in Mottram Management LLC, realized the industry gap for a first-class website that could meet the needs of RVers, potential RVers and RV-related companies.  It is a website that has now grown to more than 10,000 pages (see the content) and is widely used as a research tool for people looking for RV consumer reports and reviews.

David Mottram, a US citizen, born in the UK, was trained as a naval architect who designed, built and operated many ships. As a result of his knowledge and reputation he was invited to be the senior transportation University Professor for the (UN sponsored) post graduate World Maritime University, in Sweden. He served in this capacity for eight years before re-locating to California and then Southern Arizona. His interest in creating a business on the internet, as well as having engineering and computer skills; enabled him, along with Eileen – to start and facilitate a full blown website which is perhaps now recognized as THE major RV resource for RV reviews and consumer reports.

Eileen Sodell, a former professional interior designer to major corporations on both coasts, now works as the artistic and marketing director for Roaming Times.
