Storing your RV

You wanted it, you got it, you use it, you love it - but what do you do about RV storage when it's not in use?  This poll is not for full-timers - just us ordinary folk who don't spend all our time out there...

These are the results to 3/15/2006.  To this date, 1,658 people have taken the poll.

57% of those polled keep their RV next to their house.  Only 4% however, have an RV garage.  Ideally, 81% of people would like to keep to keep their RV next to their house.  54% of those polled said that ideally they would like an RV garage next to their house.

27% of the people polled use public storage facilities for their RV.  The average cost per month is $43 and the average distance of the storage facility from their home is around 12 miles.

We also asked - would you be prepared to rent your RV out when you are not using it - if it was worthwhile financially ?
14% said they would.
