Why I want (or do not want) to be a full-timer
Many Roaming Times readers are "full-timers". What are your feelings about this lifestyle? We think that in answering the following questions we can arrive at a more complete understanding of the full-timing population and their/your motivations - we'll share the results with you.
Around 2400 RVers have taken the poll - up to 2/14/2003 - the following outlines some of the results.

Part 1 - what I like about RVing

1.	Travel 0 = not important 5 = VERY important	Average answer 4.40
2.	Freedom 0 = not important 5 = VERY important	The most important aspect for most people taking the poll! Average answer 4.58
3.	Meeting new people 0 = not important 5 = VERY important	Average answer 3.43
4.	Just being in an RV 0 = not important 5 = VERY important	For many people this was more important than meeting new people! Average answer 3.68

Part 2 - how I feel about full-timing

	8. Has it been as good as you hoped? 0 = It's really bad, I wish I hadn't done it 5 = It's even better than I hoped	It's been very very good for most people taking the poll - Average answer 4.18
	9. Is full timing more or less expensive than your previous lifestyle? 0 = Much LESS expensive 3 = About the same 5 = Much MORE expensive	A cheaper way to live for most people - Average answer 1.87 Around 32% of full-timers said it was "much less expensive".

If NO	11. Would you like to be a full-timer one day? 0 = Never 5 = A burning ambition	Most people taking the poll would like to full-time - Average answer 3.90 Around 41% said they had a "burning ambition" to full-time. Only around 9% said they "never" wanted to full-time.

Do you think it would be more or less expensive than your current lifestyle? 0 = Much LESS expensive 3 = About the same 5 = Much MORE expensive	Most people think it would be a cheaper way to live Average answer 2.03 (Compare this with the answer to question 9 above) Around 20% thought it would be "much less expensive".
